What does CAP mean?

CAP means Competent Assessed Person. The IPAF CAP programme assesses experienced engineers who plan, manage or conduct thorough examinations of powered-access equipment.


Do you provide fleet maintenance?

Is a service the same as a LOLER examination?

No. Servicing maintains and repairs the machine. A LOLER thorough examination is a separate, detailed assessment of its safety-critical components and concludes with a written report.


How frequently does a cherry picker need a LOLER examination?

Powered-access equipment used for lifting people is generally thoroughly examined every six months, unless a competent person has produced an examination scheme specifying a different interval.
